I'm so excited to be delivering a wholesome workshop dedicated to photographing plants and wildflowers in one of Sheffield's fabulous urban green spaces!
Designed for your wellbeing this is a nature connection session where you will learn how to observe natures beauty through mindful photography, without expectations, or judgement. This is a place for like-minded folk to come together to appreciate nature's gifts. This is going to be a small-ish, mixed in photography ability, group. There's no need for macro lenses or fancy equipment. I will show you how to use what you already have, even your phone camera!
We will break for wild tea (home made & prepared by me :)), some goodies we have foraged along the way, and folklore stories.
This workshop will take place August 10th 2024.
You can grab your ticket here.
I literally cannot wait for this. I've been busy photographing a year-long wild-food project, and I'm putting all what I have learned into practice.
This "wellbeing nature connection photography session" will be the first of many more to come.
I look forward to having you join me.

We are thrilled to have been chosen to document Chris and Sarah’s Cinema Wedding at the Abbeydale Picture House in Sheffield. Their wedding planning was kept simple, and with a relaxed day in mind they took just 7 months to organise everything.
We love that they were married at the cinema (The Abbeydale Picture House) and that they made full use of the screen, which featured video messages from friends, 80’s film clips and music.
The bouquet florals were stunning in red and burgundy hues, and greenery garlands and candles filled the industrial feel reception room.
And Sarah’s wedding dress is just absolutely stunning. The pockets, the low back, the sleeves... And Chris’s burgundy suit, which is so stylish and modern. They just looked so Cool together! The rest of the wedding party were free to choose their own outfits, adding to the laid back vibes.

]]>It’s always best when working with children not to confine them to a small space, and to allow them to move and play freely (works well with the big kids too).
We would like you to imagine that having us capture your family portrait, is more like having close friends along for a lovely walk, rather than photographers who give lots of directions. It’s all very informal and relaxed and we guarantee you will enjoy it and want to do it all over again.
Please do send us a message if you would like to know more about out Natural Family Sessions.
Samantha choose to have an outdoor Family/Maternity Photoshoot in the Peak District with her growing family this March. The weather was a little changeable, but we managed to capture some precious family moments, and we even had some sunny spells.
Natural Family photography for us is about capturing the real essence of a family bond. And that is why we encourage family portraits to take place in the great outdoors.
Whether it be at a local park, your favourite picnic spot, or the glorious Peak District.

“With some, we’re certain our hearts must have been acquainted, long before we ever met them” ~ Shakieb Orgunwall
Getting to Know Paige + George during their Sheffield Peak District Engagement Session was a lot of fun. It was like meeting with familiar friends and going for a stroll in one of our favourite spots, a mutual favourite.
We are suckers for a good love story and Paige + George's is one of true strength and love...
Paige is from a small town in West Texas called Garden City, where she grew up on a cotton farm, and George is from Broom, England right next to Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of Shakespeare! The pair met in September of 2014, at a training program in Houston, Texas for an engineering firm, that they both worked for.
Paige + George describe their ‘togetherness’ as a crazy whirlwind romance where they were inseparable right from the start. So I think Stanage Edge definitely represented this (it was a crazy windy day, but stunningly beautiful), and it’s the place where George proposed to Paige this July… Paige describes the day as “perfect.”
Paige + George will be having a Summer wedding in the Cotswolds. And due to living at different sides of the pond they had to have a long distance relationship for around 2 years, so they can't wait to start their lives together in England very soon! And we are totally excited for them to start their beautiful journey together and we cannot wait to document their beautiful wedding.
Check out their photos below.

“We didn’t realise we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun” ~ A. A. Milne
This set of Natural Sheffield Family Photography photographs were taken at our Family Photography Workshop at the end of March 2018 in the National Peak District. Thanks to the lovely Kelly of Boho Weddings, her husband Nick, and their super Son Dexter for doing a fantastic job of modelling for all of us.
Feel free to get in-touch and send us an email at: [email protected] if you too would like us to document your family bond. We would love to hear from you.
